College of Science Unrestricted |
Allows the College of Science Dean to direct available funds to the greatest needs in the College, which could be scholarships, instructional laboratory equipment, stipends, or community and alumni outreach. |

College of Science Educational Fund |
This fund is designed to help high-achieving students who cannot afford books, tuition and fees. When funds are available, Dean's Scholarships are offered to deserving students. |

Science at Breakfast Lecture Series |
Community leaders hear about the College of Science's hottest research topics during the Science at Breakfast lecture series. Offered twice a semester, the breakfast discussions are held at Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main St, at 7:30 a.m. The goal is to introduce the business community and legislators with the variety of research performed in the College of Science. Click here for more information. |

Frontiers of Science Lecture Series |
Frontiers of Science is one of the most successful programs sponsored by the College of Science. Distinguished scientists and Nobel laureates from around the world are invited to speak each year as part of this public lecture series. These talks are always free and open to the public! ACCESS Scholarship Program for Women in Science |
ACCESS is a highly successful scholarship program for women in science and mathematics. ACCESS funds approximately 24 scholarships each year to females attending the University of Utah. A $3,500 stipend for the academic school year provides financial assistance. Participants attend summer classes together -- some even share dorm rooms during this time -- to create a social support system. ACCESS scholars receive on-the-job experience in a laboratory setting during spring and fall semesters. Most stay in a research lab throughout their entire undergraduate experience. |

Biology Undergraduate Research Program |
Involves junior high and high school students as well as University of Utah undergraduates in an intensive laboratory-centered summer program in the biological sciences. Provides for 20 stipends of $2,000 each year. |

Chemistry Undergraduate Research Support Fund |
This stipend is for undergraduates engaged in independent research under the mentorship of a tenure track faculty member. |

Chemistry Undergraduate Scholarship Fund |
An annual scholarship of up to $1,000 is given to a meritorious undergraduate chemistry major who is actively involved in research. |
|
Analytical Chemistry Outreach Program |
A summer program for high school Advanced Placement (AP) chemistry students who live in Utah. Students particpate in the classroom and in laboratory experimentation. University credit can be earned. |

Program for high school students focuses on the process of discovery and open-ended exploration, and is designed to introduce students to the deeper kinds of mathematical thinking that are invariably absent in most standard curricula. Click 'Math Circle' link for info and to make a gift! |

The Summer Math Program offers a unique, three-week intensive classroom/lab setting for local high school students. The support of individual donors is vital to maintaining and expanding this program. Donated funds will go towards supplies, books, tuititon, and lodging for participants. |
